Fire Sprinkler Installations was established in October 2001 by Terry Gaffney and Dean Hodgkinson who have in excess of 56 years’ combined experience in design and installations of Automatic Fixed Fire Protection.

Although Fire Sprinkler Installations is an East London based company, we have successfully carried out contracts in Richards Bay, Port Elizabeth, Queenstown, Mthatha and Grahamstown. Due to the amount of successful contracts completed in the Port Elizabeth area, we have decided to open a branch in Port Elizabeth and this will be managed by Gary Lundall.

Fire Sprinkler Installations work closely with: Architects; Consultants; Developers; Main Contractors; Mechanical and Electrical Contractors; Factory Personal and other role players to provide a cost effective, reliable and superior quality installation. We are committed to provide our clients with an unrivalled service, ensuring all matters are dealt with proactively and professionally within the desired timescale.

Fire Sprinkler Installations is approved and listed by the Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau (A.S.I.B.) as an INSTALLER. This assists in protecting the clients’ interests in that an A.S.I.B. listed company will comply with proven standards and the latest developments in Automatic Fire Protection Design. We currently have two certified designers and are working towards becoming A.S.I.B approved Supervising Installers by 2011.

We are aware of all systems and procedures relating to health, safety and environmental requirements, with regards to the OSH act, and have received the highest accolades throughout our various contracts with Mercedes Benz of S.A.

We employ approximately 52 people of whom 39 are PDI’s in permanent or on fixed term contracts depending on the economy in the area. Our design work is produced in house by qualified personal on a CAD system. We have a fully stocked store on our premises that assists turnaround time and also compliments our 24 hour call out service.

Fire Sprinkler Installations have all their own fabrication and installation equipment, including industrial compressors, 14m Genie telescopic booms, scaffolding, 12 pipe threading machines, 3 band saws, 3 roll groovers and 6 welding machines.
